Good idea about the onion. I usually cram in an onion, potato, lemon wedge or whatever I have on hand. Not sure if it actually helps, but I started to do it a long time ago and its become habit.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if it made a real difference, but the red onion sure added to the aroma smoking out of the BGE.
